By integrating, healing and nourishing the mind, body and spirit, this highly therapeutic yoga program is designed to establish a perfect communication between each part of the body. Trained in Ashtanga/Hatha Vinyasa under Chuck Miller and Maty Ezraty, she has studied with some of the world's most renowned yoga masters.
Nicole Metchick Tuesday/Thursday Adult Instructor; Hatha Yoga/Vinyasa Style
Vinyasa is based on a progressive and fluid series of movements and postures. This yoga style uses breath awareness to help initiate and dictate a fluid sequence of poses – “a conscious evolution connecting each movement with unifying breath.” The postures in Vinyasa serve to enhance organ function, stimulate the circulatory system, aid in digestion/elimination and to increase the body’s natural detoxification process. This class creates a vigorous rhythm in the body to increase flexibility and muscular endurance and to encourage mindful living.
