FINE ARTS EXHIBIT GRADES 3-12 FREE
January 27th, 2012

Each year Wakeman showcases the artistic talents of our members in conjunction with Boys & Girls Club of America’s Fine Arts Exhibit. The exhibit is a program designed to promote creativity using various media and to encourage artistic skills and cultural enrichment. Last year 321 young artists entered 286 pieces of art. Wakeman had six pieces at the Regional level in Vermont move on to the National Fine Art Exhibit in Atlanta, GA. The 2011 National winners were revealed in June and Wakeman is proud to announce that Sara Nesi's Monochromatic Drawing 'Church' and Brandon Moutinho's Watercolor 'Soldier' were both winners! Log onto www.bgca.org to view the works of other 36 winners.

This year Wakeman’s exhibit  will run during the month of January. Information on exhibit dates and preview party will be available closer to the event. Any artwork created by a Wakeman member in 2011-2012 at home, in school or at the club may be entered into the exhibit. All entries must be received by January 25th.
