Torch Club is a small leadership group and service club for boys and girls in 7th and 8th grade. Torch Club is a powerful way for Club staff to help meet the special character development needs of adolescents at a critical stage in life. Torch members learn to elect officers, form committees and work together to implement activities in four areas: Service to Club & Community, Education, Health & Fitness, and Social Recreation.
Previous Stratfield Torch Club volunteer projects have included: Munchkin Madness, Breakfast & Bingo, bake sales, basketball scorekeeping, Pasta & Taco Nights, Anthony Robbins Foundation Thanksgiving Basket Brigade, Santa on the Green, McKinley World Fair, Jennings Math Night, Mohegan Lake Cleanup and more!
Please download Torch Club Application at top of page. Application can also be found on page 29 of the Wakeman Fall-Winter 2011-12 Program Book.
2011-12 Torch Club Meetings are held twice monthly at 6:00pm on Sundays.
