Triple Play Program

Due to Wakeman Boys and Girls Club commitment to excellence we have been chosen from 66 boys and girls clubs across the world to spearhead a program called Triple Play. The goal of this program is to improve Club members’ knowledge of healthy habits, good nutrition and physical fitness; Increase the numbers of hours a day they participate in physical activities; and strengthen their ability to interact positively with others and engage in healthy relationships. There are three areas of concentration Mind, Body and Soul.

Mind focuses on helping enforce healthy habits such as understanding food as fuel and hydration as a key to wellness. Body promotes fun physical activity as well as needed exercise. Soul puts more emphasis on non-physical activity, it ensures that children can sustain positive relationships with others and develop a strong belief in self worth.
