ABOUT NICKY WILLS
NICKY WILLS has studied Classical Ballet since childhood. She trained with the Royal Ballet Company in London and was featured in many stage shows in and around the capital of her homeland. She lives in Fairfield and instructs adults and children’s yoga. She is a certified graduate from the Yoga Institute of Houston, YogaSpirit, and the Next Generation for Kids in Manhattan. She is also a certified instructor that is registered with the Yoga Alliance (RYT). Nicky has completed her Reiki 1, 2 and is a Reiki Master certified using her energy healing regularly, Nicky appreciates and practices all forms of yoga and well being, attends workshops to expand her knowledge and understanding and is currently studying Bikram, Ashtanga, and power Vinyasa, hatha and Anusara Yoga styles. YOUTH YOGA

Is your child ready to stretch and bend while relaxing the mind and body in a fun and light atmosphere? Nicky Wills, an instructor who specializes in Children’s Yoga will lead the class each week with different themes and introduce music and props to stimulate participants. Members will strengthen their self-confidence and increase their self-esteem while developing patience and learning skills to relax and concentrate. Classes will be held on Mondays from 4:30 to 5:30. Session 1 will be held September 22nd – October 27th; Session II will be held November 3rd – December 8th.

(All flexibility levels are encouraged to participate at their own comfort level.)

 

ADULT YOGA — HATHA/IYENGAR STYLE (All classes held at Wakeman)

Benefits of Yoga: Joints maintain their suppleness, reduce stress, and improves concentration and balance, relieve depression, soothe and calm nervous system, strengthens the body, reduces the chance of osteoporosis, detoxifies the body, enhances breathing and sense of well-being, quiets the mind and help let go of worries. Helps maintain a sense of living in the present, and put less focus on the past and future. Must provide own mat.
